Crystal J. Huang is a Chinese-American actress, director, and producer. She is a multi-award-winning filmmaker known for emotionally driven, visually distinctive storytelling, often centered on female perspectives.

In 2018, Crystal took a major role in the acclaimed stage drama "The Joy Luck Club", adapted from Amy Tan's classic novel by the same title. She then came to Los Angeles and attended Speiser & Sturges Acting studio of Performance. Soon after, she joined the team for the feature film Chinese Speaking Vampires (2021), playing the role of a movie director.

She has produced and performed in over 70 feature and short films, collaborating with well-known talent including Michael Madsen, Tom Sizemore and Eric Roberts.. Her work spans genres from psychological thriller to drama, with a focus on character-driven storytelling.

In 2024, she directed and produced the psychological thriller Dark Feathers: Dance of the Geisha, also starring in the lead role. The film features internationally recognized performers including Gilles Marini and Karina Smirnoff, with Michael Madsen appearing as the head of a modern-day samurai clan.. The film she directed won Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Trailer and Best Picture nominee at the 24th Hollywood Independent Film Festival. In 2025, she completed The Ritual House, a psychological fantasy horror film that delves into haunting rituals and forgotten trauma. As a female Asian director, Crystal brings a unique perspective to the screen, merging Eastern and Western influences in both narrative and visual style.
